Оценить взаимосвязь между длиной теломер и старческой астенией и отдельными гериатрическими синдромами.</p></sec><sec><title>   Материалы и методы</title><p>   Материалы и методы. Проанализирована база данных столетних граждан города Москвы. Для анализа использовались данные комплексной гериатрической оценки, в частности, шкал «Возраст не помеха», индекса Бартел, индекса инструментальной активности, краткой шкалы оценки питания, краткой шкалы оценки когнитивных функций и гериатрической шкалы депрессии. Из замороженной крови была выделена ДНК, и выполнено исследование длины теломер. Проведено сравнение длины теломер в группах пациентов со старческой астенией и отдельными гериатрическими синдромами.</p></sec><sec><title>   Результаты</title><p>   Результаты. В исследовании участвовали 60 человек (98 ± 1,8 лет, 86,7 % женщины). При анализе не было обнаружено различий в длине теломер у участников исследования с синдромом старческой астении или без него, а также при анализе отдельных гериатрических синдромов. Не было выявлено корреляции между длиной теломер и результатами шкал комплексной гериатрической оценки. Не было обнаружено различия в длине теломер у выживших и умерших в течение 3 лет наблюдения пациентов.</p></sec><sec><title>   Заключение</title><p>   Заключение. Не было обнаружено взаимосвязи между длиной теломер и старческой астенией. Таким образом, длина теломер не может рассматриваться как надежный биомаркер функционального старения.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>   Aim</title><p>   Aim. To evaluate the association between telomere length and frailty and individual geriatric syndromes in older adults.</p></sec><sec><title>   Materials and methods</title><p>   Materials and methods. The database of a hundred-year-old citizen of the city of Moscow was analyzed. The analysis was carried out using the data driven from the Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment (CGA), in particular, Age is not a Hindrance Scale, the Barthel index, Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADL), Mini Nutritional Assessment (MNA), Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE), and Geriatric Depression Scale (GDS-15). DNA was isolated from frozen blood and a study of telomere length was performed. The comparison of telomere length in groups of patients with frailty and individual geriatric syndromes was carried out.</p></sec><sec><title>   Results</title><p>   Results. The study involved 60 people (98±1.8 years, 86.7% women). The analysis found no differences in telomere length in study participants with and without frailty, as well as in the analysis of individual geriatric syndromes. No correlation was found between telomere length and the results of comprehensive geriatric assessment scales. There was no difference in telomere length in patients who died within 3 years of follow-up and no.</p></sec><sec><title>   Conclusion</title><p>   Conclusion. No relationship was found between telomere length and frailty.
