В настоящее время существуют неопровержимые доказательства, свидетельствующие о недостаточном качестве статей о рандомизированных контролируемых исследованиях (РКИ). При отсутствии понятных для читателей статей сложно судить о надежности и достоверности результатов исследований, трудно извлекать информацию для систематических обзоров. Недавние методологические анализы указывают на то, что недостатки при составлении статьи и дизайна связаны с систематическими ошибками при оценке эффективности лечения. Такие ошибки наносят серьезный ущерб РКИ, которые считаются золотым стандартом для оценки вмешательств из-за их способности минимизировать или избежать необъективности. Группой ученых и редакторов разработано заявление CONSORT (Консолидированные (общие) стандарты предоставления результатов об исследованиях) для улучшения качества представления информации о РКИ. Многие ведущие медицинские журналы и крупные редакционные группы одобрили стандарты CONSORT. Руководство CONSORT облегчает критическую оценку и интерпретацию РКИ. В этом номере мы публикуем первую часть перевода документа CONSORT.
